JH-600 - BASSELL is a reliable and compact open collimator for sighting shooting in natural light, daytime or dusk.
An interesting feature of this collimator sight is automatic switching on and off of the sighting mark. And also its brightness adjustment depending on the level of illumination.
JH-600 BASSELL collimator has a special protective cover: it not only isolates the sight from unwanted external influences, but also performs the function of switching the aiming mark on or off. It works like this: a light detector is built into the body of the sight, which turns the device off when the light-proof cover is put on.
In addition, the light detector is responsible for adjusting to the light level and precisely automatically adjusts the brightness of the dot, which changes depending on it. To prevent the cover from getting lost, there is an eyelet on it for a safety cord.
JH-600 BASSELL collimator sight is powered by CR2032 battery, and the built-in light sensor allows to use its charge quite sparingly.
Shooting adjustments of the collimator sight are made by means of screws with a straight slot located on the sight body. The screws are turned with well perceptible clicks.
The housing has everything necessary for height and width adjustment. Next to the flat bars there are markings, which easily allow you to understand what happens to the dot when rotating in one or another direction: an arrow with the letter D downwards, with the letter L to the left.
Also, for input of horizontal and vertical corrections there is a special screwdriver and a wheel with scales and divisions in the set. Such a device is an excellent assistant for the initial period, when you are just getting familiarized.
Adjustment of the sighting mark in height or width is carried out in accordance with the direction of rotation indicated on the body and the wheel-adaptor. The graduation is read using the unit's markings or a visible edge of the housing.
Height and width adjustments can be made independently of each other. The range of adjustments allows to compensate for mounting errors and to correct the ballistic characteristic. At different shooting distances the adjustment value changes proportionally to the distance.
